Matthew A. Cox

Matt Cox is the newest talented team member of EUROWELD, Ltd. Starting in January 2014, he functions as a Technical Welding Consultant. Originally from Michigan, he attended Ferris State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Welding Engineering Technology. Following graduation, Matt joined Fluor Enterprises where he worked in their Greenville, SC office as a Corporate Welding Engineer. His experience in EPC welding and related applications, include: developing and maintaining welding specifications and procedures, testing welders, evaluating new products and equipment, and supporting project welding operations. The diverse scope of applications and industries allowed him to become knowledgeable with various welding industry codes and specifications including ASME, AWS, API and multiple international codes. Matt is an AWS Certified Welding Inspector and Certified Welding Educator.
