Dave Nagy has been with Euroweld, Ltd. for 13 years as their Logistics Manager. Dave handles all of the import/export freight and customs, and oversees the North Carolina warehouse. He is well versed in the Harmonized Tariff System and International documentation. He has developed and implemented a near bulletproof shipping/packaging plan with an amazing track record of damage-free shipping.
Additionally, Dave has trained under Bill Newell and Roger Swain in the AWS codes, particularly A5.01 and A5.02. He is able to assist customers understand what they need with regard to testing and certification levels as well as old classifications vs current. Dave can assist customers with clarification of electrode coating differences, flux core designators, Bruscato factor, AC1 calculations and more. He has also been instrumental in implementing the ISO 9001 Quality System at Euroweld.
Prior to Euroweld, Dave has more than 20 years of experience as an auto/diesel technician, instructor and machinist. He is a graduate of Wyoming Technical Institute and a former instructor for Lincoln Technical Institute (IL). Dave is recognized by ASE and ASIA as a World Class Technician with his recognition on display in the Detroit Automotive Hall of Fame.
